Barefeet Chinking is a family owned and operated business in the the town of Mesa Colorado 35 miles east of Grand Junction. We have been operating since 2004 and have had many succesful years since. We have been all over the country and have even had bids to go over sea's. We would like to thank you for visiting our site and hope to help you with your projects.

What is Chinking?

Chinking is the compound that can be found between the logs of most stacked log houses. Chinking is not just there for cosmetic purposes. It acts as an insulator and a barrier between your home and the weather outside.

In addition to new construction, Barefeet Chinking will rechink your existing log home. Rechinking your existing home will seal it from air infiltration, lower heating costs and make your home more comfortable in general.
